Lyndel hardly needs an introduction. He has appeared so often with his incredible feats
of magic which not only will cause you to wrinkle your brow in bewilderment, but
make you laugh out loud!
A dynamic performer with a winsome
personality, Lyndel hails from Lake Wales (a sleepy little town in
central Florida). The youngest of five
brothers, Tim became interested in magic at age seven & was encouraged by his parents, who bought him magic kits &
magic books.
He continued to perfect his art and by age thirteen, had appeared on television
and on stages all across his home state of Florida. In 1978, at the ripe old age
of fourteen, Lyndel took his act on the road in a tour that spanned the entire United
States.
After graduating from high school, Lyndel found a new interest that amazed him
almost as much as the magic that he performed, law enforcement. He began his
career in law enforcement in 1983 & worked as a patrol officer, narcotics
detective and drug prevention officer during his tenure.
While a police officer, he moonlighted as a magician & during the intervening years,
worked diligently on new illusions and added special effects, and outlandish comedy to his routines.
Splitting his time between his duties as
a police officer and entertaining audiences became somewhat demanding. He finally left the police department to pursue his
life long career as a professional magician.
Over the years, Lyndel
has won numerous awards in the field of entertainment. In 1989, 1991 & again in 2000, Lyndel was elected by his peers as the "Magician of the
Year."
In 1986, Tim met & married Janet Bass who, in addition to becoming his wife,
also became his part time stage assistant, sound tech, wardrobe mistress, & number one
fan.
He recently released his new comedy magic
DVD instructional video titled "Magic 4
Morons." The video, shot live at Universal Studios Florida, co-stars Michael Winslow (star of
Spaceballs, Gremlins, and all seven Police Academy
movies).
His keen sense of timing and likable personality has also landed him a role in a
new feature length film titled, "Crime Busters" which is being produced by the Pamplin Film Company at Universal Studios
Florida and will star Academy Award winning actor, Ernest Borgnine.
Lyndel is a dedicated professional. He is a member of the International
Brotherhood of Magicians, the Society of American Magicians, the Florida
Association of Magical Entertainers, the North American Association of
Ventriloquists, The International Festival & Event Association, and is
listed in the 2007 edition of the International Who's Who Of Entrepreneurs.
Lyndel's shows have been enjoyed by
associations, resorts and
corporations from all over the United States and the Caribbean. His success is
due to his unique ability to communicate and entertain. His genuine enthusiasm
has become a trademark of his magic. Observing Lyndel in action allows you to
experience the wonder and enchantment of once again - believing in the
impossible.
